About the Artwork
A practice in quiet, measured visual work.
The Bible Mural explores how Scripture can live inside modern spaces through restrained design and careful material choices. Every artwork begins with text, tone, and proportion before it becomes wall art, wallpaper, journals, sketchbooks, or fabric pieces.
I'm Erica Holloway. The Bible Mural began with a quiet conviction — that Scripture belongs in the rooms where we actually live, not only in the pages we set aside.
I make work that is measured and neutral on purpose, so the words set the tone of a space and the design stays out of the way. Every piece begins with a passage and a single question: how might this be lived with, day after day?
My hope is simple — that what hangs on your wall becomes part of your prayer and your stillness, a steady presence you return to.
Erica Holloway Founder & ArtistThe artwork leads the format
A single visual language carries across canvas, paper, and surface so each room feels cohesive without excess. The goal is consistent: clear visuals, controlled detail, and a steady rhythm.
Restraint
Nothing added for novelty. What remains is what the text asks for.
Proportion
Text, tone, and proportion come first — before it becomes an object.
Rhythm
A neutral language that stays steady from wall to page to fabric.
Materials chosen for longevity
Canvas, matte peel-and-stick wallpaper, hardcover journals, sketchbooks, and fabric formats — each chosen for durability and a neutral presence that lets the work, and the room, settle.

Scripture sets the tone
Psalms, Wisdom, and Revelation guide the visual approach. Each collection is formed from the structure and language of its text.
